FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to convert three-phase AC voltage into DC, multipulse one, with equal angles of rectifiers switching. Converter in the first version contains a static balancer with three windings, each with an additional output, a transformer with two windings, like extreme outputs of the first of which are connected to phase input terminals, and the ones of the second one - to input terminals of the rectifier bridge, the first winding includes an intermediate output in each phase, between each pair of extreme outputs of adjacent first winding phases a controllable rectifier is included, which forms a successive closed connection with two other similarily included controllable rectifiers, each intermediate output is connected to the common point of a pair of windings of the static balancer, additional outputs of which are connected to electrodes of the controllable rectifiers, free electrodes of which are connected to intermediate outputs of unlike phase windings, windings of the static balancer, reactance of which is selected as the controlling one, are inductively coupled, each common point of a pair of windings of the static balancer divides the number of turns between adjacent to it additional outputs into unequal parts, while the static balancer reactance supplements the difference of rectifier circuits reactances of different levels of connection to the first winding to zero. Second version of the converter differs from the first one by that it contains additional rectifiers and three additional inductively connected windings of the static balancer, each with an additional output, which are connected to each other and to the extreme outputs of the first winding similarily to the connection of three main windings of the static balancer with the rectifiers and intermediate outputs of the first winding, each common point, one - of a pair of main windings, and the other one - of a pair of additional windings of the static balancer, divides the number of turns between adjacent to it additional outputs into pairwise unequal to each other unequal parts, while reactance of main windings of the static balancer selected as the controlling one supplements the difference of rectifier circuits reactances of different levels of connection to the first winding to zero.
EFFECT: technical result is the improvement of quality of conversion by eliminating the inequality of switching angles of different circuits rectifiers and more rational use of transforming elements allowing to increase the periodicity of rectification up to m=18 or m=24.
