SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for conversion of three-phase alternating voltage to 12-pulse rectified or three-phase alternating voltage with high-quality harmonic composition. First embodiment of the three-phase alternating voltage converter comprises a three-phase transformer with a secondary winding connected in a triangle, primary phase windings connected by the first group of terminal leads to the phase input terminals, each pair of intermediate leads to input and output terminals of one of main group of two-terminal network with parallel-connected valves and main windings of equalization reactor (Er), and second group of extreme leads - to group of additional valves, connected in pairs to outputs of primary phase windings by unlike electrodes and forming by free electrodes output leads of three-phase gate bridge, to output terminals of which are connected in parallel two connecting circuits, the first of which is made in form of smoothing reactor or/and additional load, and second - in form of two series-connected additional two-terminal devices, each with series-connected diode and said additional winding Er,

common point of additional two-terminal devices is connected to extreme terminal of transformer winding connected to open “triangle”, the other extreme terminal of which is connected to zero input terminal,

and additional valves and diodes of additional two-terminal networks form three-phase valve bridge arms. Second embodiment of the converter differs from the first one in that the first connecting circuit contains additional winding Er, and the second one - two additional diodes the common point of which is connected to the zero input terminal through the transformer connected to open "triangle". Third embodiment of the converter differs by the fact that the main valves form the arms of the three-phase valve bridge, and to its output the main winding Er is connected. Current and voltage shape is constant and does not depend on control angle. In the mode of intermittent currents, it is not deformed. Third embodiment is simpler than the others.

EFFECT: technical result achieved in all embodiments of the device consists in improvement of power factor to its constant value, including, due to the effect of inverse diode, in the mode of intermittent currents.
