SUBSTANCE: suppressor contains the body coaxial with the inlet and outlet nozzles and the resonance insert, installed coaxially with the housing, the housing and the resonance insert are coaxially aligned and have the equidistant polygon profile. The resonance insert along the edges is equipped with the diffuser and the confuser with perforated discs rigidly attached to them, and in the middle of the resonance insert the stiffening rib is installed in the form of the continuous partition, separating the resonance insert into two chambers. The resonance insert is fixed in the body by means of the fixing elements, made in the form of at least one partition with the holes. The body inside, and the resonance insert outside are coated with the sound-absorbing element. The element is made in the form of the ring, enclosing the resonance insert. The axial section of the annular sound-absorbing element is made in the form of the rigid and perforated walls, between which two layers are positioned: the sound-reflecting layer, adjacent to the rigid wall and the sound-absorbing layer, adjacent to the perforated wall, or the element is made as rigid and perforated walls, between which the layers of sound reflecting, and sound absorbing materials of different density, arranged in two layers, are located.
