SUBSTANCE: noise suppressor includes a body coaxial to the inlet and outlet branch pipes and a resonance insert mounted coaxially to the body, the body and the resonant insert are coaxially arranged and have equidistant polygonal profile in the cross-section with the resonant insert along the edges provided with a diffuser and a confuser with rigidly fixed perforated discs, a rib in the form of solid partition separating the resonant insert into two chambers is installed in the middle of the resonance insert, and the resonant insert is fixed in the body by means of fastening elements made in the form of at least one partition with holes, at that the body is inside, and the resonant insert is lined outside with sound-absorbing element. The sound-absorbing element is made in the form of the ring enclosing the resonance insert.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise suppression.
