SUBSTANCE: invention relates to quick-acting coupling with automatic locking mechanism. Quick-acting coupling (2) includes connection (4) with external thread and connection (6) with internal thread. Fixture (16) can be combined with connection (4) with external thread and made with possibility to prevent introduction of connection (4) with external thread into inlet opening of connection (6) with internal thread beyond preset depth. Fixture (16) can slide in axial direction between first and second positions. First position can be located between connection (4) with external thread front edge (30) and second position. Fixture (16) is displaced to first position so, that retainer essentially returns to first position. Also described is method of clutch engagement or disengagement.
EFFECT: invention allows to prevent connection spontaneous disconnection.
