FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in rotor machines, with have higher requirements for high speed and possibility of multiple start-ups (shutdowns) of machine. Combined bearing includes housing and installed in it rolling and sliding bearings. Sliding bearing is composed of sleeve with metal plates fixed on the shaft. As the adjusting elements in the periods of launches-stops there are fixed elastic metal plates, that form wedge gaps. Elastic metal plates are fixed on the bush fitted on the shaft and form wedge gaps with outer sleeve fitted in rolling bearings. In the housing along circumference there are electromagnetic coils connected to power supply, which has connected to it piezoactuators, pressed by springs.
EFFECT: increase of source and reliability of system "rotor-support" due to separation and duplication of functions of the rolling bearing and a sliding bearing and active control of their characteristics on different modes of operation of rotary machine.
