FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for a cargo inspection. Core of the invention is that a X-ray plant for inspecting cargo being in relative movement has a source of diverging pulse X-ray radiation; a collimator of the source to limit the incident beam of X-ray radiation; and sensors of receiving the X-ray radiation located in the area of passage of the incident beam for receiving the X-ray radiation after passing through the cargo and for generating unprocessed image signals. Plant includes a control unit, comprising intermediate X-ray sensors located in the incident beam between the source and the cargo and exposed to at least two different angular sectors of the incident beam to output independent control signals corresponding to each angular sector for use during conversion of the unprocessed image signals into part of the X-ray image.
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of obtaining images of improved quality, as well as the possibility of obtaining data on chemical nature of the illuminated materials.
