FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multilayer film containing two thin layers of thermoplastic material interconnected by a continuous layer, wherein said layer has thickness in range of 7 to 300 mcm, and is formed by hot-melt self-adhesive composition having flow coefficient (or MFI) varying from 2 to 70 g/10 min, containing 40 to 70 wt% mixture of styrene block-copolymers, wherein said mixture has total content of styrene links varying within range from 10 to 16 %, and consists of 50-90 wt% of one or more diblock copolymers of styrene-isoprene (SI) type and 10-50 wt% of one or more linear triblock copolymers of styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) type, and 30 to 60 wt% of one or more tackifying resins having a melting point in range from 5 to 140 °C.

EFFECT: invention also relates to a method of making said film by coextrusion and use of said film for making troughs suitable for repeated closure.
