FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conversion of solar energy and its transmission to terrestrial consumers. Space solar power plant comprises lobe-type solar collector (1), station housing (2) and beam (3) of microwave antennae. Collector (1) is made of plates (boards) of photoelectric converters – main and auxiliary. Plates are rectangular and triangular. Their connections are made in the form of automatic hooks and loops, which are connected by means of multilobed mechanism when deploying the collector. Folded collector (1) has the shape of a cube. Antennae of beam (3) focus microwave power on the amplifier, transmitting this energy to ground power plants.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is higher efficiency of conversion and transmission of energy to consumers on large areas of the Earth.
