FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises relative displacement of processed part and cutting tool with simultaneous supply into cutting zone of lubricant-cooling process medium, subjected to vibration in frequency range from 1 to 40 kHz. Lubricating-cooling process medium is supplied to non-processed surface of part in zone of beginning of plastic deformations during chip formation at normal to vector of cutting speed under pressure, providing pressure of lubricant-cooling process medium on surface of processed part in range of elastic deformation of material of processed part. It is expedient, on side opposite cutting zone on processed part, to apply counter pressure with pressure parameters of lubricant-cooling process medium on processed part.
EFFECT: higher quality of processing due to reduced formation of brittle fractures in processing fragile materials.
