SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Inhaler comprises dispensing mechanism, which is capable of dispensing a drug dose when actuated. Inhaler comprises also a dose counting mechanism, containing counter and a movable element. Movable element comprises pawl. Counter comprises a first count wheel, second count wheel and intermediate wheel engaged with second count wheel and in selective engagement with the first count wheel. When the inhaler is fired to dispense a dose of medicament, dispensing mechanism moves the translating member in a substantially linear direction.

EFFECT: pawl rotates thus the first count wheel, and as the first count wheel rotates, intermediate wheel is selectively engaged thereby, selectively rotating thus, the second count wheel to count the doses of the inhaler.
