FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Motor vehicle sound insulation system comprises a flexible and porous basic buffer layer and an airtight intermediate insulating layer. Basic buffer layer is designed to be placed opposite the surface of the vehicle. Tight intermediate insulating layer is placed onto the basic buffer layer. Tight intermediate layer has the surface density lower than 500 g/m2, in particular, within the range from 50 g/m2 to 400 g/m2. Sound insulation system comprises a rigid porous layer contacting with the tight intermediate layer and having a thickness smaller than the one of the basic buffer layer. Rigid porous layer has a bending rigidity reduced to the unitary width exceeding 0.01 N/m.
EFFECT: provided is improved sound insulation and reduced weight of the sound insulation system.
