SUBSTANCE: invention relates to density logging. Summary of invention is, that histogram that includes multiple channels, which have corresponding numbers of channels, with first channel number, which is first peak, which is associated with first peak known energy (EA). Number of second channel, which is second peak, which is associated with second peak known energy (EB). System of equations including first equation and second equation, which are solved for energy scale, k, and zero offset, E0. From this function is obtained, which is used to identify features in histogram.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of spectrum stabilization.
