FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, in particular to explosive cutting, and can be used for cutting hull structures of complex configurations with the wall thickness of up to 23 mm into fragments convenient for transportation and melting. Device comprises an explosively connected with the initiation means line cumulative explosive charge (LCEC) with a metal-base laminate lining directed at the structure being cut. LCEC is made elastic and able to be placed on the surface of the structure being cut with reproduction of its outline. Device is equipped with a support closing the LCEC and installed flush with the LCEC surface contacting with the surface of the structure being cut. Support is an elastic shell with a bulk substance with the density of 1.5–1.8 g/cm3. Support dimensions are selected so, that in the cross section its thickness above the LCEC and its width on each side of the LCEC are at least not less than the LCEC width.
EFFECT: technical result of the disclaimed invention is better safety of the works and efficient cutting of metal structures.
