FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultrasonic diagnostic imaging systems. Disclosed ultrasonic system performs duplex colour and spectral Doppler imaging, wherein spectral Doppler data collection is carried out in control volume location, specified on blood flow colour image. Blood flow colour image is displayed in colour frame overlapped on simultaneously recorded image in B-mode. Location and colour frame tilt angle processor analyses spatial Doppler data and automatically establishes angle and location of colour frame above blood vessel for optimum Doppler sensitivity and accuracy. This processor can also automatically set flow correction angle cursor in flow direction. In preferred embodiment adjustment optimization data are carried out automatically and continuously, when user stops at Doppler measurement points along blood vessel length.
EFFECT: technical result is beam inclination angle automatic adjustment and colour frame, in which Doppler data collection is performed based on blood vessels characteristics on image.
