FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for gas transportation consists in preliminary purification of gas supplied from inlet collector of gas main, in its compression in process compressor of gas-transporting unit, in cooling transported gas, and in its supply into outlet collector of gas main for further transportation. Gas is cooled before compression of transported gas in the process compressor. Gas cooling temperature is established from a condition where Tcool is temperature of gas at outlet from the cooler, T1 is temperature of gas supply into the compressor inlet, T2 is temperature of gas supply to the gas main collector outlet, p1 is gas pressure at the inlet to the compressor, p2 is gas pressure at the compressor outlet, k is index of gas isentropy, and ηpoly is polytrophic performance factor of the compressor. The compressor plant for gas transportation consists of the inlet collector of the gas main, of the purification unit, of inlet shut-off accessories connected in series, of the gas transportation unit with the process compressor and its drive, of the outlet shut-off accessories, of the outlet collector of the gas main and of the gas cooler. Also, an inlet branch of the gas cooler is connected with the outlet of the inlet shut-off accessories. The outlet branch of the gas cooler is connected with the inlet of the process compressor of the gas transportation unit, while the output of the process compressor is connected with the outlet collector of the gas main via the outlet shut-off accessories.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption for gas compression; raised efficiency of procedures for gas transportation and of compressor plants implementing these procedures.
