FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely neurosurgery and maxillofacial surgery. In temporal area is separated musculoperiosteal flap. Frontal branch of superficial temporal artery together with frontal branch of facial nerve is left within the skin- aponeurotic flap, a temporal muscle with its own fascia, feeding vessels and periosteum is left in temporal area. In the frontal area is extracted a single block of periosteal-aponeurotic flap with preserving of feeding arteries. Then the muscular-periosteal flap of temporal area is laid on the dura mater base of the anterior cranial fossa, periosteal-aponeurotic flap of frontal area is laid over, both flaps is fixed to the defect edges of the dura mater.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce postoperative complications that is ensured by using flaps on feeding legs, providing sealing the cavity of the skull.
