FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition based on water-dispersible polymer, a method of producing said composition and use thereof. Composition based on water-dispersible polymer includes (a) at least one of: (i) terminal hydroxyl group-containing dendritic polymer with theoretical number of terminal functional groups, equal to 16 or at least from 32-64 in a mixture with the hydrophilic functionalising agent; or (ii) containing functional hydroxyl groups of dendritic polymer with theoretical number of terminal functional groups, equal to 16 or at least from 32 to 64, of which at least 5% of terminal hydroxyl groups are functionalised with a hydrophilic group; and (b) non-dentritic polymer, capable of forming bonds with said dendritic polymer to form polymer hybrid dendrimer-non-dendrimer (DND), which can be dispersed in aqueous phase, wherein said non-dendritic polymer is selected from a group, consisting of polyester, polyacrylate, polyurethane, polyurethane dispersion (PUD), polyester polyol, polyurethane polyol, polyacrylate polyol, polycarbonate, polycarbonate polyol, copolymers and mixtures thereof.

EFFECT: coatings according to invention have high hardness, resistance to chemicals, resistance to action of alkalis, water and solvents.
