FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of physical and mechanical properties of composite materials, namely to investigation of elastic-strength characteristics at compression (strength, modulus of elasticity). Device consists of two lower and two upper gripping L-shaped appliances. In two upper gripping devices through cylindrical holes are made, in which there are cylindrical hinge elements. Device is fixed on sample by means of bolt joint. In cylindrical holes cylindrical guide rods are placed, which are rigidly fixed in lower gripping devices and on lower gripping appliances central support plates are arranged, or in cylindrical holes cylindrical guide rods are placed, while at said rods independent support plates freely move.
EFFECT: technical result: adding structural elements, making it possible to use reusable suspended strain sensors for determining deformation characteristics, provision of axial stability of sample during loading, high reliability of measured data.
