INFLATABLE INPUT DEVICE FOR SUBCUTANEOUS ADMINISTRATION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61F2/958 A61F2/24 A61B17/12 A61M25/01 A61M25/10

Abstract RU 2735673 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an inflatable input device for subcutaneous introduction into a patient's body, a device for placing and positioning the catheter relative to the desired arrangement, method of arranging and positioning a catheter relative to a desired location. Inflatable input device comprises an inflatable element in the form of an elongated tube with a distal and proximal end, a stretched element. Proximal end of the tube is configured to switch between a folded state and an inflated condition. Pull-through element is designed to be stretched inside the inflatable element from the distal to the proximal end. As a result, the distal end moves towards the proximal end inside the inflatable element. Inflatable element is inelastic and pre-installed to desired elongated shape to take said shape during pumping. Stretched element is more flexible than the inflatable element when it is pumped to the specified desirable shape. Placement device comprises a catheter. Catheter tube with an inflatable inlet device is installed on the distal end of the catheter. Distal end is elongated to the proximal end of the inflatable member. Elongated element is more flexible than inflatable element inflated to impart desired shape. Placement device has a connection point in the proximal end of the catheter tube for transportation of the inflating fluid to the inflatable input device in the lumen, connected to catheter tube. In implementing the catheter placement and positioning method, the distal end of the valve placement device is elongated when subcutaneously introduced. Inflation fluid is transported to the inflatable element of each inflatable input device by a lumen connected to the catheter tube for inflation of the elements. Catheter is retracted to make the inflatable elements engage and to be placed in the desired positions. Selectively reduce the length of the inflatable member by removing the drawn member, to cause movement of the distal end of the inflatable member towards the proximal end to move the catheter relative to the desired location.

EFFECT: higher safety during medical manipulations with the help of an inflatable input device, which can be extracted with insignificant reduction of pressure, allowing to keep its preset shape.
