FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and is intended for early diagnosis of mastitis in cows. Method comprises applying milk in an amount of 100–200 mcl on a slide and dehydration of preparation in a warm air current at a temperature of 40–50 °C and humidity of 20–30 % for 15–20 minutes in horizontal position. Upon detecting in sample multiple randomly arranged breaks border area and crystalline elements with evident destruction in central area of facies mastitis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention enables fast and accurate diagnosis of mastitis in cows.
