FIELD: motor industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Pressure regulator consists of a body with a cylindrical cavity restricted with walls, a bottom and a cover; a channel to supply the body cavity with air under pressure and a channel to discharge air from the body to the tire and from the tire; a membrane limiting the cavity formed in the body under the cover; a diaphragm installed inside the body cavity and separating it into two chambers: a chamber under the diaphragm and a chamber above the diaphragm; the first seat and the second seat. Hole with the first seat is located in the body bottom and is connected with the channel of air supply under pressure. Diaphragm has a V-shape recess in the circumferential direction, the outer petal of which can tightly fit to the cylindrical wall of the cavity above the diaphragm. Diaphragm is a check valve passing the air only in the direction from the chamber under the diaphragm. In the chamber above the diaphragm there is a tightly and rigidly installed first cylindrical jar having a hole in the bottom with the second seat. In the first cylindrical jar there is a tightly and movably installed second cylindrical jar, in the bottom of which there is a cylindrical ring. In the cover there is a cavity connected to the cavity of the second jar and a spring resting on a washer adjacent to the membrane. In the upper end of the cover there is an annular groove connected with the atmosphere with a V-shape collar, the edge of which adjoins the surface of the annular groove.

EFFECT: lower labor input for making the pressure regulator at higher speed of its response to changing pressure in a pneumatic tire.
