FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to downhole equipment and can be used in oil and gas wells, equipped with submersible electric-centrifugal pumps (hereinafter ECP). Downhole valve unit (hereinafter device) includes a housing with upper inner and power outer connection threads and a unit located inside. Unit consists of a grid for passage of formation fluid through it, from one valve pairs in form of a seat and shutoff element and from a mechanical drive mechanism. Seat is fixed against axial movement by means of bushing, grid and locking ring installed in housing bore, made in its middle part. Shutoff element is made in form of a plate, in contact with seat 6 at its conical surface with larger diameter, facing grid. Shutoff element is connected with a guide mechanism of mechanical drive. Said drive consists of guide of a back-pressure spring. Spring is located on outer surface of guide between grid and shutoff element of valve pair. Guide ends with a shank. Shank is configured for gripping with a special tool, consisting of collet clamp, jar and weight bar, for advancement of shank in direction from bottomhole to wellhead.
