FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for radiation thermal treatment of materials, particularly for cutting, welding, bending, making holes. Contact spot is formed by mirror infrared electric lamp stationary fixed in cylindrical housing, and biconvex lens of same glass as lamp bulb glass. Said housing is fixed at given height from treated surface and rotated lens with lenses till preset diameter of beam contact spot with fixation of lens in specified position. Continuous surface temperature is recorded contact-free in contact spot zone. At constant contact spot diameter said temperature is adjusted owing to changing supply voltage of lamp. Heat treatment is performed during movement of part or said contact spot.
EFFECT: method enables to create contact spot with size of up to 1 mm with high temperature and surface density of radiation on surface of received radiation material or part.
