FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in oil and gas and oil processing industries, machine building, public utilities and other industries for automation of smooth launch of high-voltage electric motors (power up to tens of MW) with voltage 6–10 kV. Device for adaptive control of smooth launch of high-voltage electric drives comprises switches and a power bus, sections of cable lines, high-voltage asynchronous motors – backup and main. Device additionally includes a main automation line with additional switchboards (contactors and switches), step-down and step-up transformers for high-voltage matching (6 kV) and low supply voltage (0.4 kV), low-voltage three-phase voltage regulator, backup section of cable line with switch, contactor and magnetic starter, for launching main high-voltage asynchronous motor (HAM) during failure of low-voltage three-phase voltage regulator (LTVR), and for setting dynamics of acceleration of main HAM and control of its rotation frequency, there are sensors for rotation frequency, voltage and current of stator and an adder in feedback circuit and there is a mode of smooth launch of main high-voltage asynchronous motor. Intelligent phase control system (IPCS) receives information from sensors of rotation frequency, voltage and current of stator and controls main (HAM) based on minimum electromagnetic losses, which minimises power consumption in transition modes and launch processes.
EFFECT: technical result is increased reliability of entire circuit due to launch of main high-voltage asynchronous motor directly from mains during failure of low-voltage three-phase voltage regulator (LTVR); optimum setting of dynamics of acceleration and control of rotation frequency of main high-voltage asynchronous electric motor (HAM), higher quality of transient processes and start-up of main HAM; ensuring minimum electromagnetic losses in main HAM.
