FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to controlling start of asynchronous electric motor. Method of controlling start-up of asynchronous electric motor of submersible pump consists in feeding commands for switching on power units of module of two phases in amplitude linear voltage, then command is sent to inclusion of a third unit of power module in amplitude of phase voltage and vacuum switching-on high-voltage shunt contactor. For such control method there are no free current components in stator windings and are present in stator windings of electric motor only forced current components. Use of disclosed method enables to eliminate effect of higher harmonic current components associated with them brake moments and electrical losses in electric motor, and in network.
EFFECT: high energy efficiency and reliability of controlling start and wedging of rotor of asynchronous electric motor of submersible pump.
