FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to piezoelectric devices in the form of an identification mark operating with surface acoustic waves (SAW) for identification systems. Method of improving protective properties of a SAW-mark (hereinafter SAW-mark) means, that a SAW-mark consisting of deposited on a substrate interdigital transducers (IDT) and reflectors through a connected to the IDT antenna is affected with an electromotive force by radiating with an analogue probing radio signal followed by a response from the SAW-mark for its further analysis to obtain an identification code of the SAW-mark, which is a digital display of the reflectors arrangement on the substrate, herewith additionally received is an encryption key – an electronic digital signature of the SAW-mark and an electronic certificate of authenticity of the SAW-mark by calculating the encryption key basing on the analysis of individual features of amplitude-phase-frequency characteristics of the radio signal response from the SAW-mark. When using the SAW-mark the obtained encryption key – the electronic digital signature of the SAW-mark – is used to identify the SAW-mark authenticity.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of protective properties of an identification SAW-mark.
