FIELD: money.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cash currency circulation coin and a method of its production. Coin comprises outer ring (2), two inserts (4, 6) laid one onto the other and arranged inside external ring (2), at least one intermediate layer arranged between the two inserts. External ring (2) and two inserts (4, 6) are made from materials with multilayer coatings. Each insert (4, 6) has a surface with two opposite sides and an outer peripheral surface. External ring (2) and each of inserts (4, 6) are attached together by means of multiple cavities formed on the outer peripheral surfaces of the inserts. Each cavity is made in the form of a hole on the outer peripheral surface. Holes are inclined relative to the direction of laying the inserts, and the holes are inclined relative to a plane coplanar to the said opposite sides. Three main components and the intermediate layer can be turned into a single structure by an impact force during coinage or stamping.
EFFECT: better protection against counterfeiting.
