FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is indeed for use as material for coinage. Metal coin with composite structure that has controlled electromagnetic signature includes central layer and at least two other layers electrically cladded over central layer. At least one layer is made from nonmagnetic material or alloy and at least one layer is made from magnetic material or alloy. This invention eliminates the problem related with that the coins of similar sizes and made from one alloy may not be distinguished by coin machines.
EFFECT: invention eliminates the problem related with coin machine calibration.
