FIELD: counterfeit-proof materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to counterfeit-proof materials and a method of producing a multilayer composite polymer coin-token article and articles with a security element, such as a coin, a token, a commemorative badge and a medal. Method includes preliminary coining of initial metal ring with subsequent pressing of protective element in form of composite insert disc, wherein at coining stage simultaneous all-round compression of composite insert disc without its destruction with simultaneous cold-textured stamping to embossment depth of not more than 0.05 mm is performed on the surface of said insert disc, previously cut from composite laminated sheet material, comprising thermosetting multilayer organoplastic and stacked sheets of paper, pre-impregnated with polymer binder so that surface of each sheet is coated with polymer layer with subsequent hot pressing, and coining is performed with simultaneous embossing on stamping press at force developed from 400 to 950 kNm.

EFFECT: invention provides a higher degree of protection of the product, manufacturability and ease of authentication.
