SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of inorganic and polymeric chemistry and can find application in the manufacture of multi-layer composite products, for example coin-like articles such as coins, medals, tokens and the like, consisting of at least two elements made mainly of different materials, as well as to products obtained by the device for their manufacture, more particularly, to devices for coining. Stamping tool for forming a coinage with a composite insert is made of a cylindrical blank and a relief. Relief is applied to at least one of its end surfaces, which consists of a peripheral and a central part. Central part is located lower relative to the peripheral part. Relief located on the central part is formed by crossing the surfaces of rotation of the second kind with technological transitions and engraving. Engraving is located on a spherical or conical surface. On the side surface of the product element is a rim, the size of which is less or equal in height to the size of the junction zone of the two structural elements of the product-coin of the metal ring and the composite insert.

EFFECT: invention provides a reliable connection of two structural elements of the product – a coin and a composite insert – without destroying the latter.
