SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to determination of biochemical consumption of dissolved oxygen in water. Device for rapid analysis of biochemical consumption of dissolved oxygen includes a measuring reservoir, in form of a flow amperometric cell, including a comparison electrode and a working electrode in form of amperometric sensor of dissolved oxygen, switching unit, a computing unit for addition, computing unit for calculation and comparison, computing unit for measurement and indication. Device is equipped with a water treatment unit, amperometric cell is equipped with a membrane placed before working electrode, with immobilised thereon active sludge, and comparison electrode and working electrode are connected by outputs to inputs of computing unit for comparison and computing unit for addition, output of computing unit for addition is connected to input of computing unit for measurement and indication. Also disclosed is a method for rapid analysis of biochemical consumption of dissolved oxygen using described device.

EFFECT: group of inventions broadens functional capabilities and provides high accuracy of analysis.
