SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and environmental protection in the field of control of water pollution by organic substances. Biosensor for determining the presence of organic substances in water consists of sleeve body with anode in its bottom base, and in cylinder upper base there is cathode, which are connected to metrical electronic unit by means of fourth wires. At the same time natural electrogenic anodophilic bacteria are applied to anode, plate with a hole is placed on sleeve body, made of material that ensures buoyancy of biosensor, and located in the upper part of the cylinder so that separation of phases of liquid under analysis located inside the cylinder and air above the cathode is ensured.

EFFECT: invention makes it easier to use biosensor and reduce its cost.
