SUBSTANCE: invention relates to audio coding and is based, in particular, to frequency spectrum improvement procedures, such as frequency band expansion, spectral range replication or smart intervals filling. Improved spectrum signal generating device comprises: signal generator for expansion signal generating from main signal, wherein expansion signal has expansion frequency range, not included into main signal, in which expansion signal or main signal current time part contains subband signals for plurality of sub-bands; controller, to calculate same smoothing information for plurality of subband signals of frequency range expansion or main signal, and in which signal generator is configured for smoothing plurality of subband signals of frequency range expansion or main signal using same smoothing information.
EFFECT: technical result is expansion of frequency band and increasing quality of encoded low-frequency signal.
