FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network lamps for automatic lighting system. Result is achieved by fact, that lighting system comprises at least two lamps (1) and at least one controller, wherein each lamp comprises light source (4) and at least two communication ports (3, 6, 9, 12), in which communication ports have predetermined configuration and orientation (3, 6, 9, 12), each communication port (3, 6, 9, 12) has possibility of communicative connection to communication port of another lamp (1) in said network in direction of orientation of port (3, 6, 9, 12), and in which identification of unused ports (3, 6, 9, 12) is transmitted to said at least one controller. Moreover invention also relates to plug (20, 21, 24, 28), made with possibility to be inserted into unused communication ports (3, 6, 9, 12) in lamp of network of lamps (1), wherein said plug (20, 21, 24, 28) is configured to display controller (7) in said network, that communication port (3, 6, 9, 12) is unused for communication with other lamp. Invention also relates to method of automatic switching of network lamps, wherein method includes steps of identifying unused communication ports (3, 6, 9, 12), transmitting information on identified unused ports to said at least one controller and control by at least one lamp in function of obtained information, relating to unused communication ports.

EFFECT: technical result is increased energy efficiency of lighting system.
