FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a lighting fixture that is activated in response to the presence of a person detected in the detection area. The result is achieved by the fact that the lighting fixture (1a, 1b) comprises a light source (2) and an ultrasonic sensor (3). The ultrasonic sensor (3) detects the presence and movement direction of a person (4) with respect to the light source (2). The controller changes the light parameter of the light beam emitted from the light source (2) depending on whether a person is moving (4) towards the light source (2) or away from it.
EFFECT: invention provides preventing vision impairment of a person facing the light source, as a result of glare or excess light that shines directly into his (her) eyes.
