SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlled touch and/or networked home devices. Such result is achieved due to that touch event can be detected in touch sensor connected to household device (102, 102a), wherein the home device can be configured to perform its main function in response to the detected touch event, can be determined whether the touch event satisfies the predetermined touch event profile, and the state machine can operate in computing device (102a, 112, 330) remote from the home device in response to the determination.

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of initiation of finite state machines in response to touch events detected in household devices.
