FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to a method and device for dismantling electric machines with permanent magnets for repair and maintenance. Device for extraction of rotor with permanent magnets comprises legs, a first rotatable handle, threaded sleeve, installed on a shaft and fixing position of legs, and a second rotatable handle, wherein shaft is attached to dead end of pipe made of titanium for extraction of rotor. Method of extracting rotor comprises fixing on housing of electrical machine a device for extraction of rotor using legs by rotating first handle, placing rotor in pipe made of titanium, which is fixed in air gap, rotating second handle to push pipe rotor from stator, rotor is removed from pipe and a clamp is worn on rotor shaft, said clamp being made of ferromagnetic material for protection of permanent magnets from demagnetisation in air.
EFFECT: technical result is simplifying rotor extraction process in field conditions.
