SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sound encoding and decoding. Exemplary embodiments offer encoding and decoding methods and corresponding coders and decoders for audio scene encoding and decoding, which contains at least one or more audio objects. Encoder generates bit stream, which contains step-down mixing signals and additional information, which comprises separate matrix elements for recovery matrix, which enables possibility for recovery of one or more audio objects in decoder.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of less complex and more flexible recovery of audio objects.
