FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to twin-fuel internal combustion engine operation. Disclosed is twin-fuel internal combustion engine (100) operating method containing: intake section (30) and engine (10) with plurality of cylinders (Ai, Bi), wherein engine (10) in first working state is operated in diesel mode (DB) on diesel fuel or on other liquid fuel, and in second working state is operated in gas mode (ZB) on gas (BG) as fuel in working mixture and between diesel mode (DB) and gas mode (ZB) switches in switching range, which is determined, in particular, by switching predetermined working parameters, where, at least, one of switching working parameters is working mixture rated pressure in inlet section (30) before engine cylinder (10).
EFFECT: technical result is enabling most preferable load increase in gas engine, in particular in gas-liquid engine from idling or low loads range.
