SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engine operation method, in particular, for load adjustment and/or load control in engine. Said technical result is achieved by fact, that in internal combustion engine there are intake section (30), engine (10) with plurality of cylinders (Ai, Bi) and receiver (80) arranged upstream ahead of cylinders (Ai, Bi), wherein intake section (30) has supercharging with compressor (51) and bypass line for supercharging bypassing, wherein receiver (80) is matched with engine throttle, and with bypass line is bypass compressor throttle; where engine throttle and/or compressor bypass throttle position is controlled depending on operating mode for effect to supercharging substance. Also provided is, that intake model section is matched with intake section (30), by means of which is determined, at least, mass flow rate and/or supercharging substance state before engine (10), and, based on result of determination, compressor bypass throttle is controlled depending on engine throttle.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of improved load control during engine operation.
