FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). According to the proposed method of supplying combustible gas and diesel fuel to an internal combustion engine, combustible gas coming from gas cylinder 8 through electromagnetic valve 7, passing through reducer 6, is converted to steam and through jet 4 installed in intake manifold 2, enters ICE cylinder. Gas dosage is carried out by changing the supply of diesel fuel, with an increase in the supply of diesel fuel, the vacuum in the intake manifold increases, which leads to an increase in the supplied gas, with a decrease in the supply of diesel fuel, the rarefaction decreases, therefore, the supply of combustible gas is reduced. Gas is mixed with air in inlet manifold, then in the form of gas-air mixture it enters through inlet valves 13 into working ICE cylinders, in the intake stroke it continues to be mixed with air and filling working cylinders. In the compression stroke diesel fuel is injected through injector 11 into the ICE cylinder and after reaching the self-ignition temperature the fuel is burnt.

EFFECT: providing operation of a diesel ICE with additional supply of a propane-butane mixture to increase effective power, torque and reduce fuel consumption without changing the ICE design.
