FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: artificial nerve, representing medium of organic electrically conductive substance possessing through porosity. Pores are filled with solution of sodium and potassium ions. Medium is enlaced with at least one layer of polymer dielectric. Cation-exchange membrane is applied on one end of artificial nerve. Organic electrically conductive substance is represented by polypyrrole or thereof-based polymer composition. Medium of polypyrrole or thereof-based polymer composition contains at least one through cavity with non-porous walls, which contains at least one inlet hole, located in transverse section of artificial nerve end with applied on it cation-exchange membrane and at least one outlet hole, located on artificial nerve wall or on its other end.
EFFECT: invention provides possibility to recover nerve-muscle synaptic connections, improves quality of nerve-muscle transmission, as well as increases affinity of artificial nerve with live nerve fibre, which ensures regeneration of axons of live nerve, sewn with artificial one.
