FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, bionics. Design of connection of artificial nerves with artificial muscles is suggested, in which parts of artificial nerves exposed from the polymer dielectric are connected with intermetallic strands, wherein an electrically conductive polymer of an artificial nerve is equipped with a thermoelectric transducer in a series connection circuit that is connected to a nylon and/or polyethylene fiber.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in the rate of contraction of the artificial muscle and its relaxation when the nerve impulse ceases due to the residual current due to the charging current of the double electrical layers, formed on the axon membrane of the living nerve or on the border of the solution of sodium and potassium ions and the electrically conductive polymer of the artificial fiber, increasing the reliability.
