FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for production of parts from light alloys. Produced by casting billet, is moved into tunnel furnace. Performing billet preliminary heating to temperature of 500 °C. Heated billet is moved to forging press with cavity. Cavity dimensions are smaller than cast billet dimensions. Male die is equipped with billet positioning means, made in form of pins. Billet is stamped at pressure of 600–700 MPa. Prior to billet displacement into forging press on male die entire surface, intended to receive billet, and on pins powder is sprayed, containing graphite particles.

EFFECT: result is enabling lubricant application process simplification, reduced forging tool contamination, which is subjected to smaller number of abrupt temperature drops.
