FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy and can be used in making articles for automotive industry and aircraft building. Preform is obtained from metal alloy by using additive production with addition of powder in next one after another layers of workpiece. Said workpiece comprises zones where powder is not bonded or partially joined. Produced billet is subjected to forging, which is carried out in one stage between two molds to ensure binding of powder in said zones.
EFFECT: higher mechanical properties of obtained articles.
