SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a smoking product for use in an aerosol-generating device which contains the aerosol-forming substrate disposed at the outermost forward end of the smoking product, and a support element located directly after the aerosol-forming substrate. The support element is adjacent to the aerosol-forming substrate, and the aerosol-forming substrate is arranged to pierce the aerosol-generating device with a diameter of from about 40% to about 70% of the diameter of the aerosol-forming substrate by the heating element, without significant deformation of the smoking product. The support element is configured in such a way that it prevents the aerosol-forming substrate movement while administrating of the aerosol generating device heating element into the aerosol-forming substrate, the substrate and smoking product as a whole deformation elimination is provided.
EFFECT: invention expands the range of products for smoking using an aerosol-generating device.
