FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating compositions, among others, to powdery redispersible compositions for production of heat-resistant and protective/decorative coatings for metal, concrete and reinforced concrete substrates. The water redispersible coating contains portland cement, an inorganic pigment, hydrophobic additive, cement curing agent, silicate, diphenylol-propane-formaldehyde oligomer as an individual polymer binder or in combination with a redispersible polymer, curing agent for diphenylol-propane-formaldehyde oligomer, dispersant, anti-caking agent, defoamer, wetting agent, water retaining agent, thickener, mica and stabiliser. The said coating is stable, ready to use when mixed with water, and environmentally friendly as it does not contain any preservatives and toxic solvents.
EFFECT: coating composition of the invention provides good corrosion protection, good adhesion and has high mechanical strength.
