FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of a comb polymer KP as a dispersant in a binder composition. Use of a comb polymer KP as a dispersant in a binder composition comprising an alkaline activating agent, wherein activating agent is intended especially for activation of a latently hydraulic and/or puzzolanic binder, wherein comb polymer KP has a polymer backbone formed from a plurality of backbone monomers and a plurality of polymeric side chains, each formed from a plurality of side chain monomers and bonded thereto, and wherein at least some of backbone monomers have one or more ionisable groups, and features a structure constant K of comb polymer KP defined as , is at least equal to 70, where n is average number of side chains per comb polymer molecule, N is average number of backbone monomers per side chain and P is average number of side chain monomers per side chain and z is average number of ionisable groups per side chain-free backbone monomer, wherein introduction of comb polymer KP provides coefficient of relative change in plastic flow stress Δtrel<0.90. Invention also discloses a binding composition, a method of producing binding composition and moulded article, obtained by curing binding composition.

EFFECT: comb polymers provide good properties and activity in alkaline conditions in binding composition.
