FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition of a comb polymer, which is used to increase the flow rate and/or to reduce the viscosity of a mineral binder composition, where the comb polymer contains a main chain containing acidic groups and pendent chains attached to the main chain, wherein the average molecular weight (Μn) of all pendent chains range from 120 to 1,000 g/mol and the molar ratio of acid groups to the pendent chains is 0.8 to 1.6. Further, the pendent chains do not contain alkylene oxides with three or more hydrogen atoms. Also, the invention relates to self-compacting concrete and a molded product obtained by curing self-compacting concrete, which contains the above-mentioned comb polymer. Invention is developed in dependent claims of the invention.
EFFECT: proposed is the use of comb polymers to control the rheology of mineral binder compositions.
